1. What is BSD? BSD(Blind Spot Detection) System: BSD warn the driver against collisions that may occur due to a lane change manoeuvre. BSD are intended to supplement the vehicle’s interior and exterior rear-view mirrors. BSD are intended to detect vehicles to the rear and sides of the subject vehicle (see Figure). When the subject vehicle driver indicates the desire to make a lane change, the system evaluates the situation and warns the driver if a lane change is not recommended. The system will not take any automatic action to prevent possible collisions. Responsibility for the safe operation of the vehicle remains with the driver.
2. Does it need make hole to install radar sensor? No, BSD is different the normal parking sensor, BSD is with left and right microwave radar, it will be pasted on the bumper, the alarm range is 3-15m
3. Why your product no main device? Our microwave radar build in DSP processor, it can directly transfer the command signal to the LED light, so it can save the transfer time, make sure your safe driving.
Features: 1. After starting the vehicle, BSD system would start-up. 2. The BSD system could be closed or opened through the exterior switch. 3. BSD system could receive the information via CAN_BUS(eg. Speed, turn lights, etc.) 4. Blind spot detection function; 5. Motion object distance judgment function; 6. Relative speed judgment function; 7. Lane change warning function 8. LED light will turn on when there is vehicle in blind spot 9. LED light will blink and the buzzer will alarm when the turn light is on and there is vehicle in blind spot
System Warning Area 1. System Detect Range: Both Side > 3m, Behind >10m 2. Defined Area: Min effective range
